Dr. Toolan has been coming to our home to help our dog Ethan recover from a back injury. She made friends quickly with our pup who is very skittish around strangers. Her knowledge about the dog and how each system works together has given us a deeper understanding of how to help our little Ethan. Ethan has progressed and steadily improved after each acupuncture treatment and we are so thankful for Dr. Toolan’s expertise.

I have had two dogs, both adult male Golden Retrievers, under the care of Dr. Leeann Toolan. One was a 12 1/2 y.o. male who had back end weakness issues. The acupuncture and herbal treatment allowed this dog to have an entire year of absolute quality of life before he died of other problems (cancer) unrelated to this treatment at age 13 1/2. I currently have a second dog under Dr.Toolan’s treatment for barking and mild anxiety. I was getting another young puppy this summer and didn’t want the puppy picking up on this dogs behavior problems (that escalated after the death of the older dog). Sheba is a 17 1/2 year old Dachshund that started having problems about three years ago with her hind end; walking clumsily, and sometimes falling into a sitting position. Sophie is our Newfoundland dog. She is a pert 130 lbs. One of the concerns for all the big dogs is cruciate ligament injuries. They are quite common and painful for the dog. Surgery to correct them is expensive and successful about 50% of the time. At about age 8 Sophie injured a cruciate ligament. We turned to Dr. LeeAnn Toolan for considered advice. Dr. Toolan treated Sophie with acupuncture and herbs and the healing began. After just a couple of months of treatment — without surgery — Sophie was healed.
